1) What is the preferred reading of a media text? When the producer wants the audience to follow their beleif 2) What is the oppositional reading of a media text? When the consumer takes in the opposite beleif which is not intended by the producer 3) How does the Harry Brown trailer position the audience to respond to the teenage characters in the film? Most teenagers just cause problems and they also they do unsafe and dangerous acts causing safety isues in their local areas 4) Why might young people reject this reading and construct an oppositional reading of the trailer?  Age: most likely 18+ This is because in the poster you can clearly see its a horror movie involving blood which in cinemas is over a certain age limit.This means it is restricted to a smaller amount of people due to the age limits the movie holds. gender: typically ane gender male or female This is because a horror movie generally doesnt bring a certain type of gender meaning any sort of gender is allowed to watch whithout being affected by anything.
