'Advertising: Key conventions'.

 1) What key conventions of print adverts can you find and what are the connotations or deeper meanings of each convention? For each convention, write about how it communicates meaning to the audience. See the Maltesers advert above for an example of how to do this.

They use visuals and slogans to attracht people colours and logos to get their brand more noticable and more like malteseres uses red as their main colour to make the brand more easier of a choice to pick from

2) What is the USP (unique selling point) for Skittles and how do you know? Does the advert use any of persuasive techniques listed above?
The vibrant fruit flavoured candy which in slogan is saying taste the rainbow which makes the candy stand oout more and after 1 bite u get many uncontrolable flavours
